The whole bathroom, covered

One visit, one invoice, every touch-point supported. The best-value way to make a bathroom safe.

What a whole-bathroom install usually includes

  • 1 shower entry rail (vertical).
  • 1 main shower horizontal rail (≥ 1,200 mm).
  • 1 bath entry rail (if there's a bath).
  • 1 toilet horizontal rail (plus an angled if needed).
  • 1 towel-rail replacement, if the existing one is being used as a grab rail (it shouldn't be — towel rails aren't rated for body weight; Better Health Channel is explicit about this).

Why this is usually the smarter booking

  • Per-rail cost drops significantly vs. single-rail bookings.
  • One site visit, one set of fixings, one sign-off.
  • Every touch-point in the bathroom supported — you aren't leaving one fall-risk untouched because it wasn't quite in the OT scope.

Cost

  • Whole-bathroom package (3–5 rails): from around $650. Exact price depends on wall types and rail selection.
  • Funded: OTs often scope a full bathroom in a single quote — send me the scope and I aim to quote back within one business day.

Common questions

Does the package include the rails themselves?

Yes — Australian-made rails where possible (Home Handrails, Canterbury Concepts, Bendtech); imported rails meet AS/NZS. If you've got a specific rail brand in mind, tell me at quote time.

How long does a whole-bathroom install take?

Typically 3–4 hours onsite for a 3-rail package, longer for 5 rails or if wall reinforcement is needed. I'll give you a time estimate on the quote.

Can we split it across two visits?

Yes, but the per-rail cost goes up to single-rail rates for the second visit. Same-day is always better value.
